Every one of us knows what darkness feels like. Darkness is not just the absence of light—it is confusion, fear, addiction, shame, guilt, and hopelessness. But the good news of the Gospel is this: God does not leave us in the dark. He sends the Light. And that Light is Jesus Christ.
Jesus said clearly and boldly:
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12
Jesus did not say He brings light. He said He IS the Light. When Jesus enters a life, darkness cannot stay. Light always wins over darkness.
Darkness never overpowers light—light exposes darkness.
“For God, who said,
‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 4:6
The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall i fear? - Psalm 27:1
